QNAP and Brickcom Announce Cooperation to Provide World-Class Network Surveillance Solutions
HSINCHU/TAIPEI - [February 17, 2011]. Brickcom Corporation, a leading provider of wired and wireless IP surveillance solutions, announces the integration their full line of full feature IP cameras and video server with the entire lineup of VioStor network video recorder (NVR) solutions from QNAP Security, the premium Linux-based and PC-less NVR solution provider. In addition to the 16 models already supported, QNAP VioStor NVR will now support Brickcom’s 1.3 megapixel cameras and outdoor Speed Dome OSD-040 40x camera with an upgrade to the version 3.3.1 of the VioStor NVR firmware released at the beginning of February.
QNAP's VioStor NVR Series are standalone surveillance systems designed to provide professional IP-based monitoring and video recording. The Linux-based VioStor NVR supports PC-less quick configuration, monitoring of IP cameras, and video playback on a high-definition VGA monitor or TV. Other advanced features include multi-server monitoring (up to 128 channels), easy data search by Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), generic IP camera integration, digital watermarking, advanced event management, email and SMS alert, and advanced RAID with hot-swappable hard drives design.
